Job purpose:
This role will act as a co-pilot for the Value Stream Manager. The main challenge is to adopt a certain level of independence and be improvement driver for the Value Stream. He/she is capable to work independently as well as part of a highly motivated team, supporting his/her line manager and other team members to achieve agreed goals. He/she must be role model to others in creating a culture of standard adherence and the right mindset and behaviours.

Key responsibilities include:
• Drives operational excellence through the Lean Principles and Lean Methodologies to optimize resource utilization (assets / associates / expenses) by identifying opportunities for further improvement
• Manages the implementation to support the delivery of agreed operational performance criteria in terms of safety, quality, delivery, output and cost
• Develops and maintains road maps/action plans/strategies, conducts and co-ordinates studies and analysis to identify and quantify opportunities or shortfalls in value stream operational and/or direct cost financial performance
• Collects, analyses and reports KPIs, facility and enterprise level, creating and leading KPI based action plans for performance improvement to achieve ‘Best-in-Class’ structure, identifying and driving efficiency projects to optimize production KPIs and costs
• Applies LEAN manufacturing approach, tools, and techniques to all industrial engineering activity, developing and implementing Lean principles and methodologies
• Supports site strategy and/or regional projects execution with the required data
• Creates collaborative relationships in the Value Stream and other teams
• Coaching and training about IE and Lean principles

Requirements:
• University degree preferably in engineering / manufacturing
• Minimum of 5 years working experience, minimum two years of job related experience, preferably in an engineering / manufacturing / operational role
• Basic understanding of performance measurement information system and statistics
• Advanced knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles (eg.VSM, TPM, PDCA)
• Advanced analytical capabilities
• Advanced excel and finance skills
• Basic project management skills
• Min. B2 English written and verbal
